教堂是淡水的地標，由於歷史悠久，建築外形特殊，背景有觀音山、淡水河，自然形成一幅特殊的美景，至今仍舊是畫家寫生的最愛。這幅是日治時期的黑白老照片，整張作品造型已由作者加以改變及美化並由黑白賦予色彩，相信必能喚起一些老年人的美麗回憶。
The Tamsui Church is a local landmark. The special architectural exterior with its long history and the background of Mount Guanyin and the Tamsui River naturally compose a beautiful scene long-loved by sketchers and painters until now. This old black and white photo from the Japanese-colonial period is changed, beautified, and given color by the artist, and is believed to elicit beautiful memories for elders.
