梅蘭竹菊是花中的四君子，從古代開始，就受到許多文人的喜愛，常出現在花鳥山水畫之中。每種花都有自己獨特的氣質展現，除此以外，這四種花分別綻放在不同的季節，也代表著四季的更替，畫中的幾隻彩蝶在梅蘭竹菊之間自由自在的飛翔，象徵著美麗又豐沛的生命力穿梭在四季之中，隨著四季的更迭，源源不斷的傳遞下去。
The plum, the orchid, the bamboo, and the chrysanthemum are considered the four gentlemen of flowers. Since ancient times, they have been favored by many literati and often appeared in both bird-and-flower and landscape paintings. Every flower has its unique temperament. Furthermore, the four flowers respectively blossoming in different seasons represent the changes of seasons. Several colorful butterflies fly freely among the plum, the orchid, the bamboo, and the chrysanthemum in the painting, symbolizing that the beautiful and rich vitality wanders through four seasons and is passed as the seasons change.
