高維蘭，現為新北烏來織部協會成員，擅長傳統地織、手織、串珠等傳統泰雅技法，參與在地⽂化復振多年。織女與協會其他成員透過「培育苧麻」計畫，從種植、採集染色、到編織，完成純手工的泰雅傳統織布。承襲傳統衣料多以苧麻為主要材料，並用天然植物染色作品，再從個人生命經驗中汲取養分，轉化成源源不絕的創作能量與生命印記。
Gao Wei-lan is a member of the New Taipei Wulai Weaving Association. She’s skilled at traditional Atayal techniques, such as traditional ground weaving, hand weaving, and beadwork, and she has been working to revive the local culture for many years. She and the other members of the weaving association started a “bulrush cultivation” project to produce 100% handmade traditional Atayal textiles from planting and collecting dyes to weaving the cloth. The traditional cloth is made mostly of bulrush and uses natural plant dyes. The weavers have an unending wellspring of inspiration taken from their life experiences and turned into records of their lives.
