梁丹丰1935年出生於中國南京，曾就讀杭州藝專，1949年來臺，後於新北永和長居終老，曾於多所大學任教，能畫能文，終生不墜。長年遠行多處宣揚傳統文化，作品以旅遊寫生名世，並經常將寫生畫與旅遊書寫搭配而成散文集，是臺灣女性自助旅遊和繪畫寫生先驅。
Born in 1935 in Nanjing, China, Liang Dan-feng studied at the National Hangzhou Art College before relocating to Taiwan in 1949. She laid down her roots in Yonghe, New Taipei City, and taught at various universities. Her talents were multifaceted, encompassing both literary and visual arts, and she maintained a passionate devotion to these crafts throughout her lifetime. She traveled extensively over the years, championing traditional culture in a multitude of locales. Her artistic creations, particularly renowned for portraying travel sketches, frequently merged with her travelogue to yield a series of essays. She was a trailblazer in Taiwan, paving the way for women in independent travel and sketch artistry.
